The 2010 ASEE Robotics Competition was held in New Philidelphia, OH. The 2010 competition required teams to design a robot that could score 3 ping-pong balls through tall circular goals and complete a lap around a square "baseball diamond".
Cedarville's entry, The Crackin', used a catapult-like mechanism to launch the ping-pong balls through the goals, and then used line-following techniques to navigate the rest of the course.
The Crackin' was 3D printed and fitted with custom electronics.
Cedarville placed first in this competition.
